The urban countryside in the Medlock Valley offers a wealth of opportunities for learning about our environment and social history. As well as self-guided activities, the Warden Service offers a range of educational events for schools, most of which are free. School visits can be tailored to meet specific requirements, or age groups, and can play a key role in fulfilling aspects of the national curriculum - with bug hunts, pond dipping and tree/bulb planting being particular favourites.

For more information, or to book an activity, please contact the east area parks.
