This section contains interactive content that can be used to explore Philips Park.

Click on the links below to select which interactive application you wish to play with: 
  • Interactive Map (UNDER DEVELOPMENT) - this allows you to view maps of Philips Park and the surrounding area, including aerial photographs and historic maps from the 1880s to the present day. You can also click on 'hot spots' to access relevant pages on this website (select 'Plan' to use the hot spots).
  • Interactive Timeline - use this to learn about the history of Philips Park, from the 18th century to the present day. The timeline includes photographs and summary information on key events, as well as links to relevant pages on this website.
  • Video - click here to watch a selection of short videos about Philips Park. Most of the videos include an audio commentary. Use the on-screen controls to play, pause, fast-forward and re-wind the videos as you wish.

Using Interactive Content

Most of the content in this section requires you to have Macromedia Flash Player installed in your web-browser. Flash is a free piece of software that allows you to watch animations and access interactive content. It is very likely that your web-browser already has Flash software installed. If not, it is available free of charge from the Macromedia website.
